Director's Epistle

Dear Readers,

The Pre- Engineered Building industry in India has been moving at a robust pace, albeit the recent slowdown in its spends due to economic conditions. However we feel that certain crucial reforms and policy changes by the government now will hopefully help improve the economic confidence ahead on a positive note.

The Year 2012 has been good for Interarch, we have been able to secure around 200 orders across India for Pre-Engineered Buildings for clients like Toyota Kirloskar Motors, DB group, Siemens Limited, Carrefour India, Asian Paints, TATA, Honda, and Yamaha etc. and have successful received more than 80 orders for Interarch Light Buildings, our new steel building system.

The emergence of many players has increased the depth of penetration of the industry, even in previously remote and unknown territories. Competition is always good for any industry. It grows the awareness, instills healthy competition and improves quality. The winner is the end customer.

We are aggressively growing our current line of pre-engineered solutions and are expecting to expand our network even larger with new marketing and projects offices now in more cities. Interarch is also extensively preparing to set up a new heavy steel construction and building line for large scale projects and that will require us to hopefully add another manufacturing plant sometime during 2013.

New Initiatives taken by Interarch in the year 2012

	This year Interarch has launched - “Interarch Building Innovators”, with aim to bring together the best minds in the country to commemorate modern Indian engineering and infrastructure development. Building Innovators partners with the leading industrial and business minds of India and, industry’s renowned Architects and Consultants, continually supporting modern Pre-Engineered Steel Construction & Development. Interarch has recently launched - “Certified Builder Program” for its builder partners, to ensure that the standards of execution are taken to a higher level. Interarch, being India’s leading turnkey pre-engineering building solution’s provider, has been working with skilled sub-contractors to deliver high quality projects to customers. Under the Interarch certified builder program, Interarch will be aiding and training all its sub-contractors with better and more efficient ways of execution that will be in line with standards followed internationally. Interarch certified builder is a first of a kind builder development program in India, organized by any company in our segment. Young Builders Program is an initiative taken up by Interarch to reach out to and educate Young Architects and engineers about the Indian Pre-Engineered Steel technology and about its various applications and nomenclature. This program has already been executed in universities and colleges across North India. Interarch aims to educate and enrich the young architects and developers of tomorrow with access to Industry knowledge and practices followed in the Pre-Engineered Metal building Industry & its application, Green building norms and sustainable construction. Close Group Seminar - we have started and executed number of focused close group seminars in cities like Gandhidham, Indore, and Bangalore etc. to interact with the regional influencers. We invite top and influential architects, consultants and industry experts to come and share their knowledge in these events. Launch of Heavy Steel Buildings Division : India is a growing country where we need very fast development of infrastructure such as housing, roads, railway, airports, ports, hospitals, power plants any many other infrastructure needs which is very necessary for the economic growth of the country. Interarch Infrastructure Development division is best suited for such type of construction projects.
