Smart Cities: Growing Importance of smart cities in India
   

The concept of smart cities and regions has emerged over since the past 3-4 years, it’s predicted that 70 percent of the world's population will move to urban areas by 2050, The main feature of eco-city is to encourage preservation and maintenance of environmental and ecosystem surrounding urban area. The green cities are rated on concepts & categories like energy, carbon emission, water, sanitations, waste management , air quality , land use , transport & environment governance The principle of economy in Eco-SMART city concept is sustainable and efficient economy that promotes the healthy economic activities and beneficial the aspect of environment, people and profit.

It has recognize three principle elements including
1. Creating self-sustaining economic
2. Efficient, competitive and high impact of industrial and commercial
3. Promoting green economy activities

Interarch green Buildings will contribute in the development planning to success the Eco-SMART city concept that manages energy efficiency among the building. The key principle of this design is green building design, green construction and green materials to ensure building energy optimization.

The Eco-SMART city concept is emphasizing walkability and public transport to manage zero waste of gas carbon emission and enhance the public health. The design of smaller neighborhood centers will keep local shopping that community not need vehicle and just walk to the destination within 5 minute walking distance. For Eco-SMART city concept, it is able to promote social interaction, community development, community building and smart community for long life learning purpose.


IGIA, T3 Built by Interarch wins World Best Airport Award
   

Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi has been declared as the world’s best airport in the year 2014, under the category of handling 25 to 40 million passengers per annum.

Airports Council International (ACI) presented the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) award to IGIA at a ceremony of the ACI Asia-Pacific/World Annual General Assembly on April 28 in Jordan.

Interarch completed the challenging task of putting up the entire pre-engineered steel roof structure and roofing system of IGI T3 in record time of 12 months; Interarch installed a 7 layer roof over almost 200,000m2 of roof area on the entire airport. The entire roof of the airport is supported by almost 10,000 MT of structural steel, also installed by Interarch.


Interarch delivers project in just 180 days
   

Can-Pack India Private Limited (CPIPL) is a container manufacturing business venture owned and promoted in India by Can-Pack S.A. The parent Company Can-Pack S.A. is headquartered at Krakow, Poland.

Interarch delivered two buildings for Can- Pack India Pvt. Ltd. each of 6930 Sq. M. The purpose served by the two buildings is for production and warehousing simultaneously.

Health Tip for Summer Months
   

Sleep Well: Resist the urge to stay up later during long summer days. Instead pay attention to good sleep hygiene by keeping the same bedtime and wake-up schedule and not drinking alcohol within three hours of bedtime.

Stay Hydrated: Stay hydrated with liquids; treat yourself with lemonade, coconut water, juices and make sure you have plenty of water

Eat Smart, Eat Right: keep foods with high water content like water melon, cucumber and muskmelon. Also try to eat fresh & homemade food as the bacteria is most active during this season

Stay cool and avoid mid-day travel and try to limit exposure during this time to 20 min and avoid prolonged sun exposure from 12:00-4:00 p.m.

Lather up & wear sunscreen

Ease in to summer. Allow your body to adapt partially to heat through repeated gradual exposures. “An increase in the body's circulatory and cooling efficiency, called acclimatization, generally occurs in only four to 14 days

Take proper care if you feel Symptoms of heat exhaustion: Headaches, Heavy sweating, Cold, moist skin, chills ,Dizziness or fainting ,Weak or rapid pulse , Muscle cramps ,Fast, shallow breathing ,Nausea, vomiting or both

Steel Production in India
Today, India is the 4 th largest crude steel producer of steel in the world.
In 2013-14, production for sale of total finished steel (alloy + non alloy) was 87.67 mt and 65.197mt during April-December 2014-15 (provisional).
Production for sale of Pig Iron in 2013-14 was 7.95 mt and 6.08 mt during April-December 2014-15(provisional).
India is the largest producer of sponge iron in the world with the coal based route accounting for 89% of total sponge iron production in the country.
Data on production for sale of pig iron, sponge iron and total finished steel (alloy + non-alloy) are given below for last five years and April-December 2014-15:
