| Interarch has delivered part of manufacturing shopbuilding for Ford India Auto in Sanand, Gujarat. The building was built in the record time of 6 months. Initially building was planned in conventional structures and accordingly foundation was made at site. Post construction of the foundation, building was changed into Pre Engineered Building. Design of PEB structure to suit existing foundation was the biggest challenge for Interarch to meet the expected design profile.
Ford India Auto Established in 1995, Ford India is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company, a global automotive industry leader. Ford India manufactures and distributes automobiles and engines made at its modern integrated manufacturing facilities at Chennai. The new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, will include two plants, one for vehicle manufacturing that will have an initial capacity of 240,000 vehicles, and the other for engines, with an initial capacity of 270,000 engines.Ford India's integrated manufacturing facility at Sanand includes stamping, body, paint, press and assembly operations for vehicle and engine manufacturing.
